Trip Itinerary

DAY 1: GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG (110KMS APPRX):

Arrive at Guwahati airport and travel to Shillong. On the way visit the beautiful Umiam Lake (a reservoir in the hills). After check-in to the hotel, ride to the Liatlum canyon meaning “the End of Hills” situated at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the picturesque view and get lost on your own thoughts. After returning back explore handicrafts and also devour on some ethnic food at the famous Shillong market in Police Bazar. Later in the evening relax and enjoy your tea or coffee at the famous Dylan’s Cafe and then head to the hotel for a perfect night’s sleep.

DAY 2: SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJI (80KMS APPRX): 

Get ready to travel to Cherrapunji known for its living root bridges and also holds the honour being the “wettest” place on earth. On the way visit the two-tier waterfall known as Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley. In Cherrapunji visit the Dainthen waterfalls and enjoy the eye-soothing Wei Sawdong also known as the three-level waterfalls or terrace waterfall. Visit Nohkalikai waterfall (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), Arwah Cave and Mawsmai cave a beautiful limestone cave.  Overnight Stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 3: DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE TREKKING: 

Put on your trekking shoes for the day!!  Transport to Tyrna village and thereafter it is a trek from Tyrna to the double-decker root bridge at Nongriat. It is  “stairway to heaven”. Ater a long day of trekking enjoy and relax. overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 4: CHERRAPUNJI TO DAWKI (120 KMS APPRX): 

Ready for some thrilling and adventurous in Dawki. Morning travel to visit Mawlynnong village, the cleanest village in Asia. After that travel to Shnongpdeng in dawki. On the way visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Explore activities like boating, kayaking, cliff jumping, swimming in Shnongpdeng in Dawki. Overnight stay in Dawki.

DAY 5: DAWKI TO SHILLONG VIA JOWAI(140KMS APPRX) 

Morning travel to visit the magical Krang Suri whaterfalls. Next visit Phe Phe waterfall which will definitely take your breath away. Enjoy and travel back to Shillong for overnight stay. 

DAY 6: SHILLONG TO GUWAHATI AND DEPARTURE(110KMS):

Morning after breakfast travel back to Guwahati for departure. With tons of memories say good bye to Meghalaya.

7. No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
8. Visits to Museums/Parks/Monasteries/Forts  in the program is subject to their remaining open on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.
9. We will not bear any cost for flight canceled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. The cost of accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.
10. No changes in the date of travel once booked.
11. Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
12. All expenses which are not included in the cost of package shall be paid directly by tourist at the time of checkout.
13. All tourists are advised to take comprehensive Insurance on their own.
14. The timings given in itinerary and program may be changed without notice keeping in mind local development.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. 25% cancellation charges if cancelled before 30 days before the tour.
2. 50% cancellation charges if cancelled within a 10-29 days before the tour.
3. No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after the starting or middle of the tour.
4. The Process of Refund will take around 7 days to complete.
