DETAIL TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT GUWAHATI - LOCAL TOUR - NAGAON:

After arrival at Guwahati Railway Station, you will visit the Umananda Temple. This Shiv temple is located in the Umananda Island which is the smallest river island in the world. Then you will visit the Balaji Temple and Basistha Temple. Later, travel to Nagaon for the night.

DAY 02: WHOLE DAY IN MAHA MRITYUNJAYA TEMPLE:

DAY 03: NAGAON - MAWPHLANG - SHILLONG:

Today, you will drive to Shillong. On the way visit Umiam Lake. You can also go boating in this lake. Then travel to visit Mawphlang Sacred Groove. It is an untouched forest that is the soul of Khasi culture, Mawphlang is home to the most celebrated of all the ‘law-kyntang’ or ancient sacred groves of Meghalaya. An hour away from Shillong, Mawphlang hosts a beautiful valley & thick forest grove supposedly protected by ancient spirits as the Khasi folklore saying goes. Check in to hotel on arrival. Evening visit the Cathedral Catholic Church, one of the largest churches in the state. You may also explore handicrafts and also devour some ethnic food at the famous Shillong market in Police Bazar. Also known as a fashion hub, you can explore some fashionable outfits and warm clothes. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJI:

Morning, you will drive to Cherrapunji, which is the wettest place on earth. En-route visit the Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. In Cherrapunji you will visit - Garden of Caves, Nohkalikai waterfall (Tallest Plunge waterfall), Arwah Cave (A beautiful Limestone cave), Mawsmai Cave, & Seven Sisters Waterfalls. Evening, check in to homestay/resort. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

DAY 05: CHERRAPUNJI - MAWLYNNONG - DAWKI - SHILLONG:

After breakfast, travel to visit Mawlynnong village, (Known as the cleanest village in Asia). Also visit the Single Living Root Bridge in nearby Riwai Village. After that, travel to Dawki where you will go boating in Umngot river (by direct payment). Umngot river is known for its clean water. After that visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Later, travel back to SHillong for the night.

DAY 06: SHILLONG - LAITLUM - NARTIANG DURGA TEMPLE - GUWAHATI:

Travel to the Laitlum Grand Canyon meaning “the End of Hills” situated at the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the picturesque view and get lost in your own thoughts. Then travel to Nartiang to visit the Nartiang Durga Temple. Also, visit the Nartiang Monoliths nearby. Later, travel back to Guwahati.

DAY 07: KAMAKHYA TEMPLE - DEPARTURE:

Morning, visit Kamakhya temple. The Kamakhya Temple is a Sakta temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Then do some shopping in the Fancy Bazaar. Also, visit the Sukreswar Temple. Later, transfer to Guwahati Railway Station for departure.

Note: The package cost will vary depending on the number of persons. Hotels will be subject to availability. 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

·         25% of tour/service cost if cancelled 45 days before the tour.

·         35% of tour/service cost if cancelled within 25 days before the tour.

·         70% of tour/service if cancelled within 15 days before the tour.

·         No refund for tour starting within 10 days, after the start or middle of the tour.

·         The Process of Refund will take around 30 days to complete.

Note: Written cancellation will be accepted on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

HOW TO CONFIRM / WHAT NEED TO CARRY / TnC/SPECIAL NOTE:

·To confirm Package, we need all travelers exact Name, Date of Birth, Gender.

·Send us your Arrival & Departure Train / Flight details

·Your optional roaming mobile numbers.

·Transfer / Deposit 50 % payment for confirmation of Package. Balance 50% will be paid on arrival.

· All travelers (including child) must carry during tour: Original ID Address proof (PAN card not valid).

· Dinner and Lunch is not included. It can be ordered in the hotel. Sometimes you may go out to local restaurants to explore local cuisines. 

·Check-In / Check-out time at all the properties would be at 1200 Hrs (Noon). Some properties may not allow early check-In.

·Room allotment will be as per availability. Same category for all rooms can not be guaranteed.

·Check your luggage/belongings/valuables/ items in any form, before leave the vehicle/ check out hotel. We/Our Company/organization are not responsible / liable in any manners in case of lost/misplace/damage/ forget of anything in the vehicle/hotel.

·Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.

·We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

·We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

·We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.

·The rates quoted in the package are on per person basis and valid only for Indian citizens.
